The company will provide power supply for corresponding net capacity of 748 MW from Unit 1 to the Bangladesh Power Development Board.

APJL said that it has started processing its claims under the PPA with effect from 6 April, 2023. Unit 2 of 800 MW is in an advanced stage of completion and is expected to be commissioned soon.

In the BSE regulatory filing, Adani Power said, “In pursuance to the Regulation 30 and other applicable Regulations of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, this is to inform that Unit 1 of 800 MW capacity of the 2×800 MW Ultra-supercritical power project of Adani Power (Jharkhand) Limited (“APJL”), situated in Godda District in Jharkhand, has achieved commercial operations.”
