Morocco’s King Represented at Inauguration Ceremony of Nigerian President by Head of Government

King Mohammed VI was represented at the inauguration ceremony of the new president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, by Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, represented, on Monday in Abuja, His Majesty

The inauguration ceremony of Nigerian president Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima took place this Monday at Eagle Square in capital Abuja, before activities continued at the Presidential Palace.

The event was attended by several heads of state and governments’ representatives.

Tinubu, 71, takes over from Muhammadu Buhari, who has stepped down at the end of his two terms.

He won the election in February with 37% of the vote. His main rival Atiku Abubakar polled 29%, and Labor’s Peter Obi 25%.
