Morocco has affirmed its full support for the desire of brotherly Saudi Arabia to bid to host the final stages of the 2034 Football World Cup.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release that this support stems from the strong ties linking King Mohammed VI, to his brother the Custodian of the Holy Places of Islam, King Salmane Ibn Abdelaziz Al-Saoud, and to Prince Mohammed Ben Salmane Ben Abdelaziz Al-Saoud, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers.

Morocco is fully convinced of the capacity of Saudi Arabia to organize this major sporting event, given the country’s overall development momentum and recognized organizational capabilities, the press release said.
